How To Change Webmethods Exisitng Flow Using Designer

 

Sometimes as a webmethods developer, we need to change the flow that is already running because fixing bug or there is a change in the requirment of the user who wants to speed up the development process without creating a new flow. To change the flow in the designer, do the following steps.

1. Make sure, you have runned your IS and opened your c designer
   
2. Open existing flow that you want to change and make sure  there is no green checking at flow name. For Example, use WmTutorial package and there is helloWorld flow.
3. Right clik in empty area of flow then choose Lock for Edit (CTR+L) then your flow will tick with green sign

4. Now you can edit your flow, once you finished, doing as point 3 but choose Unlock (CTR+U) to unclock your flow
